Research and Teaching

Currently, I work at ITU Copenhagen in the Center For Computer Games Research as a PhD student.
My research is focused on advanced and autonomous camera control in interactive 3D applications.
Camera control has a deep impact on player experience and enjoyability in games. The camera represents the point-of-view of the player through which she perceives the game world and gets feedback on her actions.
I’m interested in how the camera could be placed and animated automatically while the player plays the game, and how such automatic camera behavior affects the interaction.
Moreover I’d like to investigate how the camera, as any other content in a game, could adapt to optimize the player’s experience.
More generally, I’m interested in computer graphics, artificial intelligence and adaptivity in computer games.
Please check my courses page to see what I teach and my publications to know more about my research.
